Private Beta
Beta Terms of Use
1. Who operates PrincipalGO
PrincipalGO™ is operated by Strategically Engaged, a business of Nielsen Family Holdings LLC. In these Terms, “PrincipalGO,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator. “You” refers to the individual using the beta service.
2. Beta access and eligibility
The beta is invite-only and intended for adult school leaders and approved design partners. You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and use only the account issued to you. If you use PrincipalGO for work, you are responsible for following your employer’s policies and obtaining any approval your organization requires.
3. What PrincipalGO is for
PrincipalGO is a workflow command center designed to help school leaders capture tasks, create reminders, delegate work, connect approved Google services, track follow-up, and organize administrative workflow. You remain responsible for reviewing requests, recipients, deadlines, and outputs before relying on them.
4. Restricted information during beta
Unless your school or district has specifically authorized the use and an appropriate written agreement is in place, do not enter or upload:
- student education records or other restricted student information;
- student health, medical, counseling, discipline, or special-education records;
- passwords, security credentials, access codes, or authentication secrets;
- payment-card, banking, Social Security, or similarly sensitive identity information; or
- other information your organization prohibits from being placed in third-party software.
The beta is designed for adult leadership workflow, not student accounts or unrestricted student-record processing.
5. Connected services and delegated actions
If you connect Google or another third-party service, you authorize PrincipalGO to use the permissions you grant for the actions you request. Third-party services remain governed by their own terms and availability. When you direct PrincipalGO to delegate or send a message, you authorize that communication to the recipient you selected. You are responsible for confirming that the recipient, content, and requested action are appropriate.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use PrincipalGO to violate law, impersonate another person, gain unauthorized access, transmit malicious code, send abusive or deceptive communications, circumvent security controls, or interfere with the service. You may not attempt to reverse engineer or extract non-public source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
7. Beta changes and availability
Beta features may change, be added, be removed, or operate differently as testing continues. We may suspend or limit access to protect security, investigate misuse, perform maintenance, or end the beta. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the beta service, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. You must promptly report suspected account compromise or unauthorized use to support@principal-go.com.
9. Ownership and feedback
PrincipalGO, its software, product design, branding, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to us. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content to provide and secure the service. If you provide beta feedback, you allow us to use it to improve PrincipalGO without an obligation to compensate you.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared in connection with PrincipalGO.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PrincipalGO is provided during beta on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim warranties that cannot reasonably be made for a preview service, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where those disclaimers are prohibited by law or modified by a separate written agreement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any separate written agreement, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from beta use. Our aggregate liability relating to the free beta will not exceed $100. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not permit them.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the beta at any time. We may revoke beta access for security, misuse, policy violations, expired invitations, or termination of the pilot. Data return or deletion obligations in a separate school or district agreement will control where one exists.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as PrincipalGO develops. If a material change requires renewed consent, PrincipalGO may ask you to accept a new version before continuing to use the service.
15. Governing terms and contact
These Terms are governed by applicable California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where a different rule is required by law or a separate public-agency agreement. Questions may be sent to support@principal-go.com.
